Debro Announces Retirement of CEO, and Appointment of New Leadership Team
Debro Inc. today announced that its President and CEO, William (Bill) Heise has decided to retire from the company on September 30, 2019. Effective today, Bill will assume the role of senior advisor to the company and its new leadership team.
Bill has been Debro’s President and CEO since 2005, leading the company through significant growth and transformation over the last 14 years. Most recently, Bill was instrumental in the successful acquisition of Tartan Color and Chemical in May of 2019. Coinciding with this announcement, Yvonne Heise, current Business Unit Director of the Industrial Specialties division will also be retiring. Yvonne joined Debro in 2011 and has lead the Industrial division since 2015.

New Leadership Team
Debro is also excited to announce the following leadership changes, effective immediately. Paul Ruffo, current Vice President of Sales & Marketing will become President – Food & HPC and will lead Debro’s combined Food Ingredients and Home & Personal Care business units. Paul brings over 36 years of industry experience and has served in a number of leadership roles within Debro during his 29 year tenure. David Houston will remain President – Industrial Specialties; David joined Debro June 1, 2019 following the acquisition of Tartan Color and Chemical by Debro.
