Neelikon Dyestuffs was founded in 1983 by Mukund Turakhia and was incorporated into the present company in 1994, as Neelikon Food Dyes and Chemicals Ltd. Neelikon manufactures colours from its plants in Dhatav, around 120 km from Mumbai (formerly Bombay) and manages its business from its head office in Mumbai, India.
Neelikon has emerged as a prime manufacturer of high quality dyes, pigments & lakes for food, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, personal care, home care, stationary and inkjet ink industries. It also produces specialty fluorescent dyes used in manufacturing of daylight fluorescent pigments and other specialty industrial applications. Cosmetic Pigments for Colour Cosmetics
Neelikon is regarded as one of the top three producers in the world for cosmetic pigments. Neelikon offers a wide range of cosmetic dyes, lakes & pigments for decorative cosmetics under brand name Lavanya. The products meet appropriate cosmetics legislation as applicable, namely that of US FDA, European Community, India and Japan.
Lavanya organic lakes are range of aluminium, barium, calcium or talc lakes. Lavanya inorganic pigments mainly consist of Iron Oxides, Ultramarines, D&C Black 2 and Titanium Dioxide.
Our Cosmetic Lakes & Pigments are manufactured with unique proprietary technology to achieve extremely soft and fine particles. Particle size plays an important role in the final product incorporation. It also is a key factor to achieve consistency in shades.
Personal Care and Home Care Colours
Neelikon is regarded as one of the top three producers in the world for US FDA Certified personal care colours. Neelikon offers high quality dyes & pigments under Neelicol, Neelicert & Lavanya Brands for various personal care and home care applications. This range represents a wide variety of water soluble or solvent soluble organic dyes and pigments in powder form for personal care, toiletry and home care applications.
Products are manufactured under highly controlled processes to ensure high quality, extremely low impurities and consistent tone. Products meet appropriate cosmetic legislation as applicable, namely that of US FDA, European Community, India or Japan.
Synthetic Food Colours
Neelikon offers a full range of US FDA certified FD & C Colours & lakes for food application meeting specifications as per US FDA – CFR Title 21. Neelikon also offers the complete range of aluminium lake colours made from primary food colours meeting appropriate food legislation namely that of USFDA, European Community, JECFA/CODEX, Japan or India.
